Meet the Team!
Robby Dubinski
Robby is a committed mathematician and coder from Arnold, Maryland who began his computer science career in high school. Following his completion of AP Computer Science at his school, he enrolled in an online course on data structures and algorithms to continue deepening his knowledge. Currently, he is working on expanding his understanding of low-level computer graphics and the OpenGL API in order to improve the immersive feel of Duberuce. On weekends you can find Robby going for a run or playing pickup basketball at a local park.
Sam Bruce
Sam, a future MIT student from Severna Park, Maryland, started coding as a freshman in high school. After breezing through an intro class and then the AP exam, he turned to independent projects to continue expanding his knowledge. His expertise in mathematics is intertwined with his coding ability and has led to several fascinating applications. His use of linear algebra allows for Duberuce to handle complicated ray intersections with ease and improves the user interactions. Outside of computing, Sam is a world-class sailor and talented guitar player.
Ben Berlin
Ben is an aspiring and driven computer scientist from Davidsonville, Maryland who has been pushing the boundaries of his knowledge for years. He has come a long way since his horse racing simulator he wrote in his 9th-grade intro course. Over the previous year, he has delved into the nuances of terrain generation and is currently developing advanced algorithms to reduce memory overhead and improve runtime. When not coding, Ben is a dedicated tennis and track athlete alongside a strong commitment to his school's historical society.
